Lorenzo O’Reilly
Chair of the BID

Lorenzo has a back-ground managing retail markets in several areas including Manchester, Trafford, Tameside and Rochdale. Lorenzo has worked at the Exchange since 1996 initially as Operations Manager prior to taking over the reins as Centre Manager at the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre in 2000.

Lorenzo is the longest serving member of Town Centre Management company and has been a Director since August 2000. He is now the Chair of the BID.

Lorenzo is passionate about Rochdale not only working in the town for 24 years but living in the Borough for the last 16 years. There have been many changes over the years some bad but many good. Rochdale is a unique place with a strong heritage and a lot to offer. Our aim is to make Rochdale the number one town centre destination in Greater Manchester to live, work, relax and enjoy life.

Mark Foxley
Centre Manager of The Wheatsheaf Centre, Chair of Town Centre Management (TCM).

Since autumn 2018 Mark heads up The Wheatsheaf Centre in Rochdale town centre as it enters an exciting period of change adjacent to the new Riverside development. He is also Chair of TCM, has strong links with ATCM, and is an active member of the Institute of Place Management, he is also an accreditation assessor for Purple Flag, and treasurer of the charity Shopmobility.

Mark has more than 30 years’ experience in the retail & leisure sector, including sales & marketing director roles with leading brands. Having been involved with Rochdale Town Centre Management for over 15 years and a director for the last 4 years, he’s passionate about the town centre.

Having also lived and worked in the borough for 17 years he’s keen to build stronger partnerships and see the BID in place to help create an improved environment and business growth for all.

Paul Ambrose
BID Manager

Paul’s career has included 18 years in Town Planning and has a wealth of Place Making experience, having developed and led award-winning projects, including major town centre schemes and public realm improvements. Paul has worked with many stakeholders to put forth ideas on how to build a sustainable and better future for the town centre. Being born, bred and educated in the town, Paul has a vested interest in promoting and delivering regeneration projects that will improve the attractiveness of Rochdale, making it a vibrant town that people will want to work, live and spend time in.

Jayne May
Project Executive

Jayne has worked in Rochdale Town Centre for a considerable number of years and is well known and well respected by many of the local businesses, who enjoy seeing her friendly face. Jayne listens to the concerns of the businesses and works with the Town Centre Manager to support their needs and growth.  Jayne has excellent organisational skills, which is evident from the annual Street Eat festival. Jayne works with the local businesses, the Council, external contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth, safe and successful event.

Jayne is really looking forward to the future in the town centre and applauds the ongoing  and successful regeneration of the town, ‘It’s an exciting time for the Town Centre and I’m very pleased to be part of the journey that we are all taking together’
